Third grade students at Rose Creek recently tied three dozen lap size quilts to donate to the Primary Children's Hospital as a service learning activity. Each student in the third grade helped on one or more of the quilts. This has been a yearly project for the past five years and has continually grown. Twenty-five parents also volunteered by offering resources for the fabric and yarn or came in to help students with the tying of the quilts. Thank you to the teachers who provided the encouragement to students to help others.
